About the workshop
A two-day PhD workshop on EU un-muting power will be organised during the second year of the project. PhD workshop aims to offer an opportunity for graduate and PhD students to present and discuss early research related to the EUNMUTE project at an international conference. The workshop will provide a forum that brings together PhD students from all over the world, selected on the basis of a call for contributions.
Eligibility
The PhD workshop on EU un-muting power will welcome submissions from PhD students who have not yet received their PhD degrees.
The PhD workshop will be held at the IES in Brussels or, in case of necessity, online. PhD students will be invited to discuss their research in front of an interdisciplinary set of academics from the CoE and beyond. This event would help students to improve their research and would create networks between researchers and academics from different backgrounds and of different levels of experience.
Travel Grants
To facilitate participation of PhD students from low- and middle-income countries, the CoE will offer up to five Travel Grants (TG) to cover travel and stay expenses (max. 500 euros).
Application for the TG will be submitted to the CoE Executive Officer at least three months before the date of the workshop. All applications will be evaluated by the EUNMUTE’s Steering Committee. Grant-winning PhD students will be informed of the SC decision eight weeks before the date of the workshop.
