Last July\, the European Food and Safety Authority (EFSA) issued its opinion on the risks associated with the use of that substance. As the Commission and the Member States are due to decide on the renewal of glyphosate’s approval in the coming months\, this seminar gives specialised NGOs an opportunity to express their views on this hot topic and on what it tells us about the EU’s ability to deliver on its promise to ensure a high level of protection of health and ecosystems. \n
